On a epoch that starts out like any other, every 11-year-old boy's life is changed eternally. As the main character and his confidant Miki pass a leisurely afternoon, Miki abruptly collapses from an unknown illness. When the virgin shows no sign of waking, the the bulk character grows distraught over not being a good in a higher degree friend and not having the resources to save her. Suddenly, a novel voice offers him a second befall: "Beyond the door you can change your destiny!" He soon leaves the absolute world and journeys to the nature of Vision, where, as a proselyte "Traveler," he will surmount myriad ordeals in hopes of ultimately meeting with the Goddess of Fortune to accept a single wish granted.
